I was wondering what the compression range should be for my bike. It says the bike has 8700 miles on it but it appears the odometer has been tampered with (the glass is chipped around the edges like someone was trying to adjust it even though it comes apart from the back!) I was also wondering what the 9.2 to 1 compression ratio is referencing for the 1?

No, that's the compression ratio of the cylinders; the mathematic representation of the difference between the volumes when the piston is at BDC and the cylinder is at full capacity and when the piston is at full compression, its smallest capacity.

The SPEC for your motor is 128psi minimum, 156psi "standard" and 171psi maximum.

Fitz explained the comp. ratio nicely, and the air/fuel ratio you're thinking of (stoichiometric ratio) is 14.7:1 for petrol, 15.7:1 LPG and 14.5:1 Diesel
