xj adventure bike?

    Anybody tackle this? Anybody set one of these up with some 70/30 tires and better suspension? It seems like they would work pretty well the 550 are light enough and able to be re-geared with the chain drive.

    The 550 makes most of its power and torque ABOVE 6K rpm.

    It also makes PEAK power at redline, 10K.

    Below 6K it's not exactly a "stump-puller." The power curve isn't really suited to low-rpm trail riding.

    This would be my take on why nobody's done it.
