XJ Digital display removal help??

    I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the digital display from my 81 xj750 Without causing any more problems?? This thing is just an eye sore to me and I would really get it off my bike soon.Any help would be awsome.Thanks

    Ha, I feel your pain, Check out my seca cafe project, I removed mine and placed some of Mikesxs.com gauges instead. Great swap and no more sore eyes too. LOL

    keep me in mind if either of you want to part out your computer. mine might be FUBAR. ive not had a chance to put it on the bench to check it yet but i like how they look...

    I built a cafe rat bobber pot of mine,Custom modified my gauges from honda hawk a cbr and my xj guts lol Got some pics posted Anyway I stashed the computer inside the headlight but just knowing theres a ball of potential problems hiding in there makes me sick.

    Lt, I can test your gauge setup on my 81 if you need it. I can also fix some minor problems.

    I also collect "dead" gauge sets to cannabilize for repairs.

    Lt. Dave: if it turns out you need a stock gauge, I'll be glad to part with mine and make room in the shed. Mine shows 21,000 miles or so and I can take photos if needed.
