Xj / fj 600 no start

    Gday men. I recently purchased an xj600 84 model. Have done a heap of work to it however it will not start. Can anyone tell me the correct settings for timing as the manual i have is very vague. I believe the timing plate changed on the 84 and does not have a pointer to line up the ignition plate with. Also I have three different marks on my cams. One on the cam collar, one on the end of the cam and the cam sprocket mark. Which one to use and to line up with what?? I suspect timing as it will turn over but will not fire. Will backfire though. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers
