XJ frame differences, HELP

    Again I am looking to buy a Vetter fairing mount for an 82 XJ650 Maxim. There is a mount available on ebay off an 81 XJ650 maxim.
    Does anybody know if there is a difference between the two frames????
    I have already fabricated one but think the real deal would be better.
