From what I've been looking at so far, it doesn't really seem like there's a ton of aftermarket for our bikes (cables, bolts, etc. aside).

Are there any companies out there that actually offer performance parts for XJ's? Has anyone here ventured into this before with any results?

I think it'd be cool if a company would come out with forged/billet rotating assemblies, huge cams, & EFI units for these things. Kind of a sleeper bike if you will (Looking at my XJ today, the poor girl hardly looks fast).

MAC makes an aftermarket single-wall exhaust.

Dynacoil makes a high voltage coil pack for this bike.

K&N makes a reusable air filter

Progressive makes front springs and rear shocks to replace OEMs.

    Parts are out there.

Those are all well & good, but what about actual hot roddin' parts?

After digging into my XJ's motor, it looks like there could be a LOT of room for cool stuff to work. Build a high spooling, billetproof 550/600 with a tiny little turbo, or a super high compression powerplant with big cams?

The Secas came with a turbo, already.

Don't know if your internals would withstand the boost, but you could do an engine swap with a seca motor.
