Ok. I know the regulars are familiar with Chacal. But for those who don't, the guy is worth his weight in gold.

I'm fairly new at turning a wrench and don't have the confidence to order the right part or know exactly how to accomplish a specific task (beyond the two manuals I own).

Chacal has been outstanding. The parts sent out are quality parts, even the aftermarket parts. He is a trusted source for parts and I don't look anywhere else.

I just finished rebuilding the forks on my XJ750 and got stuck a few times. I emailed him and he is quick to respond and communicates extremely well.

That being said, if you need parts connect with Chacal at www.xj4ever.com.

Agreed. And you are not just paying for the parts you purchase. He will take the time to help you identify what you need and answer questions about installation.

I third this kudos to Len/Chacal. I've gotten the wrong part from ebay several times, even though it supposedly was for my XJ550.

If you've spent time looking for some obscure part, save your time and browse Len's catalog. Before I found this forum and XJ4Ever, I wasted an evening looking for float bowl drain plugs. The best I found was on eBay, 2 used for $25.00. The carb rebuild kit I received from Len included 4. He helped me figure out what I needed, caught a couple of my mistakes (saving me some money), and then promptly shipped it off. I'll definitely be ordering from him again.
