    Hi all,

I've got all my XJ550 Seca relays and shut offs mixed up in a box of others. I think they're called relays. They're the cube looking dealies with four wire connectors. At any rate, does anyone know which one goes where and what numbers they are? I can make everything work except the clutch shut-off and I need it to work to pass a safety. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Aaron.

They should be different colors. Blue, yellow, and black. I can't recall the order. A quick search would be your answer.

Len has all of the color codes identified, the wiring harness on page 1 and relays on page 2.

Most of it is pretty basic, blue dot on side stand relay should match blue tape on engine harness. Yellow dot on head light relay should match yellow tape on harness. Starter cutoff relay is not color coded, marked with 4H7 or 12R-01. If the color coding is missing anywhere, he has the harness wiring color identified for each bike.

Here is a link to the clutch switch that may help:

So what is the actual fail mode? Will the starter engage when the bike is in gear?
