xj550 MAIER CRUISER-STYLE WINDSHIELD or other?

    For a 1981 xj550 Maxim:

    I'm looking at a MAIER Cruiser Windshield.
    Its claimed the cruiser type provides a bit of wind protection without detracting from the bike's looks.
    Its smaller than a Slipstreamer.

    Anyone with a MAIER Cruiser Style Windshield on their XJ550?
    Experiences, tips?
    Is this model tall enough to flip wind over a rider's helmet?

    Is there another type or manufacturer for a cruiser windshield thats comparable to the Maier?
