XJ550 maxim sidecovers [SOLD]

I've had these sidecovers for a long time when I found a local guy parting out his bike; figured I'd keep 'em for awhile in case mine ever got damaged. Well I've been cleaning the garage on these cold winter nights lately and figured I'd list these for sale. I won't be needing these since both of mine fit snug & I'm comfortable with the ones on my xj550 maxim. These listed below for sale fit my maxim 550 and the emission control sticker on the backside depict it is applicable to 1982 model year, fyi.

The left sidecover does have a crack along the 'chrome' portion but it does not go all the way across. Also it should be worth noting that 3 out of the 4 original clips holding the 'chrome' pieces on the back (2 for each sidecover) are still intact! So I'd trust these covers to hold up and there are no cracks or broken pieces anywhere else. You'll note there are a few scuff marks on the decals, but that's to be expected for used sidecovers.

Price is fair & firm: $40 for the pair plus shipping. I found it difficult to find a pair of identical covers on ebay...

 

bump. I realize with the holiday season this may be a bad time selling motorcycle parts. perhaps I'll bump it later in the spring if these don't sell.

Dude; you have a RIGHT SIDE cover.

If nobody wakes up and jumps on them, put 'em on eBay and don't take less than $100.

I have Secas or they'd be in my garage already.

 

Fits, yep he has a right cover...... but he also has a left cover----- that's the other one that he photographed and has the crack in it. That's why he said he has a pair for sale, lol

No takers for awhile so I put these on craigslist and ebay last night. Anyone on here that wants them will get a slight reduction in price - $35 plus shipping in lower 48 states.

I found a right side Seca cover with two and a half tabs intact on Kijiji for $30! Yippie for bargains!
