    Hey guys,

So time to replace a battery. Anyone have any recommendations for a sealed battery for an XJ650, stock setup, not really worried about saving weight or anything just don't feel like messing with refilling batteries anymore. I've had good luck with an Odyssey brand for my K100RS but wanted to see if anyone had a specific recommendation here. Thanks guys!

I ran a MotoBatt last year with great results. I don't know the model number off the top of my head but I can post it tonight (it's a tight fit but works).

MotoBatt MB12U is what I have: I should note that I don't have the original positive battery-to-solenoid bar and lead so I can't say whether it fits with that or not, but coincidentally ordered them from Chacal earlier this week so I'll be able to confirm that as well at some point in the near future.

UPDATE: Well I eventually went the AGM battery route and bought a MotoBatt MB12U. Fit was great inside the stock box and it mounted perfect with the stock positive and negative leads. Battery seems like it is good quality, reviews were good around the web.

I am running the same, so far it been a great battery. Held up to all the start/stops when I initially got it running and tuned. The extra set of terminals made installing the tender harness clean too.
