Can anyone tell me what the "proper" paint configuration for the "fins" on the engine are?
I've seen all silver, all black or black cylinder jugs with a silver valve upper. I've also seen inbetween the fins as black with polished edges.
Does this make sense what i'm asking?
I'm just trying to restore/paint to factory new while I have the engine out.

    All black with brushed/polished edges.

Nit pick: this image must be a non-USA model - has an oil cooler, doesn't say "Seca" on the side and has the round mirrors. But engine paint is the same.

Thank you Dan. I saw that one which brings up another question, why are there 2 different seat cover types on the same yr. model? Some have a smooth cover while others have a "ribbed" one.
Seems there's multiple variations of the same bike.

As far as I know the ribbed one is correct. Someone else may know different
