XJ650G TCI compatability

    I've been looking for a TCI replacement for my bike. I can get my hands on one but there is a difference in the part number. Would it still be compatable? Problem is... no returns.

    My number is TID14-02 and their's is TID14-06

    Help is aprreciated.

    Somebody like Chacal will have the answer at his fingertips but generally speaking, it should run okay and some members have swapped TCIs between different models with no noticable change.

    The exact part number should work best for your bike but you may notice no difference.

    Do a "Search" for TCI repair here as somebody will resolder/repair them.(Robert)

    Check out ebay to as there is a guy in New Zealand selling aftermarket TCi's at good prices.
