xj700 oil pan

    can you remove the xj700 oil pan with out taking the engine out?
    my exhaust is smoking, looks like the pan/and or gasket is leaking into and on my exhaust causing a white smoke

    Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
    Once you remove the exhaust. The oil pan should be accessable.
