XJ700X starter and cable - needs rebuild

    Hi,
    I have a starter and cable from an '85 XJ700 Maxim X that I re-discovered in a corner of my garage. I swapped the starter 2-3 years ago on a bike I no longer own and cannot test this to know what might be wrong. It wasn't turning over with this specific starter installed.

    It is in great exterior condition (original black paint) with absolutely no rust.

    If useful to someone, please make me an offer! Can provide phone number and pictures for anyone interested.
