Does anyone out there have a set of used valves in decent condition??? Also a used timing chain???? I cannot afford new ones and I would like to try to get this bike running for a starter bike for my wife. The bike I purchased dirt cheap has a broken timing chain and bent valves on #3 cyl (int) and #1 cyl (exh). I dont know if this bike will even run so I don't want to stick a whole lot of money into it yet or just until I find out if it will run for me. The bike is in decent shape just doesn't run yet. I am trying to go about this diagnosticly first.
    Thanx,
    Chris

might try doing a compression test on the two cylinders you've still got. try to get a feel for the motor being worth it or not.

also, when valves bend. there's usually holes in the pistons. or, at the least. some cracks.

might be cheaper to find a used motor rather then fix a broken motor.
