6-8 months ago I purchased a 1982 XJ750 in "as is" condition. With the help of some posts on here, a repair manual, and experience, I brought it back to life and have enjoyed riding it until yesterday...

In a brief pursuit of trespassing 4 wheeler on our property yesterday ( I know, I know, dumb idea) , the XJ and myself went down in the field. The only damages were a broken turn signal, bent left outer handlebar, and broken clutch lever.

I'm working on fixing it now...

    Re: XJ750 Off Road?

It's fall or close enough. Not a good time to sell a bike. With only 12K miles on it, this is still a puppy, the second gear thing COULD be big or could be easy. What would I do? Fix it and keep it, and diagnose the second gear issue.
