    Hello all,
Its time for me to replace my fork seals, my question is what to do with the components. Has anyone had luck with continuing to use the air over oil, or just use straight oil with a heavier weight, or change out the springs to progressive. I am a novice when it comes to motorcycle mechanics, so any input would be greatly appreciated. The bike is a 83 XJ900Rk

Dave (hogfiddles) is the resident 900 guy... if he doesn't weigh in here... I'd PM him....

for what's it's worth, my bike doesn't have any of that fancy air stuff etc... and upgrading to 15wt and progressive springs made a huge improvement.
