Help ! Did a silly thing when I tore down my bike some months ago.......I forgot to photograph how the fuel sender fits !!
So, now I’m putting it back together, which way does the long arm, with the fuel float attached, face : toward front, toward back or to one side (and, if so, which side ?) ?
    Thanks in advance

I've got a shop manual at home that might show it. I'll check in the morning and see if I can find that.

Sorry David, I’ve gone through the service manual and can’t find anything showing or saying which way it should be mounted. I wonder if someone has the Haynes manual. That might have something.

Thanks anyway Spear. Haynes has nothing but I did read that the electrical connection looks straight to the rear so I’ve repositioned today.
Problem is, I have petcock issues now so can’t fill tank to check.
    New parts ordered !!
