What is the best way to carefully remove the fairing from my XJ900 Seca. I had tried to to do this once before, but was having a realy hard time getting something on the inside nut(s) for the bottom mounting bolt. Just was not sure if maybe someone could clue me in on secrete for getting to bottom mounting nuts out without breaking/damaging the fairing. I need to get it off so that I can do some work to electrical back there. The access point through the head light is not enough.

as far east as you can get in michigan 43.027407,
theres only 4 bolts that hold it to the bracket...

two are accessible in the headlight well and the other two are accessible from the back side of the fairing...

the fairing has the threaded bosses set into the fiberglass/plastic of the fairing and shouldnt be free spinning...

let me know if you need anymore info on this. my bike is put up for the winter but i can look on it if you have any questions...

Yes I know where all four bolts are located. And I am able to remove the two just behind the head light, it is the other two that I am having problems with. As far as I can tell you can access them on either side of the front forks facing forward. It would appear that the bolts pass through large rubber plugs and come out the otherside being held on with a large washer and nut. I am just having a really tough time getting my fingers far enough inside the fairing to grab the nuts so that I can turn the bolt with a 10 mm socket wrench. I am just not sure if there is some trick that I am missing/overlooking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.
