Yamaha XJ700 Maxim Carb

I'm rebuilding the carb on my 85 XJ700 and I just got new jet for the it, I was wondering if anybody had any techniques for getting everything all cleaned up. I'm also curious what other parts of the carb people would recommend me to replace. This is my first time working on a carb and a bike ever so any help is appreciated.

Also, get your carb parts from Chacal. Click on link top right of screen. XJ Forever Parts off of Ebay,etc. are often not the proper fit, especially for carburetors.

From personal experience--take your time and do it correctly the first time.
