    It's alive!!! ALIVE!!!! buttoned everything back up, hit the enrichment switch and the start... VROOM!!! soooo stoked, thank you all so much for your help and patience.

    that is to say, by running i mean it fires up. carbs are leaking gas and the valves clearances are way off, but other than that I HAVE A WORKING BIKE!!

    no sh#t sherlock :lol: im not that green.... i turned it off once the gas hit my boots, which were on the ground.... ;)

    you'll be hearing from me soon re: carb gaskets and valve shims....
