I have downloaded the sketch for the home made tool and plan to make one But...... do the dimensions work for all cc sizes meaning do you use the same tool for a 600 and an 1100??

yes it will work for all sizes. A simpler tool can be made by taking 18" of the fuel line they suggest (High heat for sure), and punch a hole 3/8" from one end all the way through two layers. Feed a heavy nylon string through the holes and tie it back on it's self. You will notice that when the tubing is compressed it flares on the end. Trim the flares off using a razor blade or shears. Feed the string through the YICS passage and pull the tubing through. If it gets a little stuck, pull on the tube and the string at the same time. It will streach the tube and thus make the diameter smaller. Oil on the tubing helps a bunch too. Find a dowel or rod that will fit into the tubing snuggly, but not too tight (its hard to get out when it gets hot). There you are, home made tool super easy. I had a hard time getting the other YICS tool to fit in there. The rubber pieces wouldn't go in too well for me.
