Has any of you tried an electric bike form this Zero company? I know thay have at least two models (street model and dual purpose model).

I wonder what is the general feeling, what is the average range before a recharge and what is the typical life expectancy of the battery.

    Thanks for info.

It leaves a few questions not aswered: how many times would the battery accept recharging before it definitely fails? How many years one would commute with the same battery? How much will it cost to replace the battery?

Me and some buddies were gonna go test ride those this year, the salesman talked to us at the motorcycle show last year and told us to come out, but never got the chance because the dealer is a decent ride away. They look interesting and I think it would be cool to ride one. Dont think i would ever own one though

An electric bike seems to be a perfect RV accessory to go camping, it can charge while strapped to the rack, and then you can use it to do grocery runs and buzz around the campsite.

Our battery tech still sucks too badly for me to consider an electric bike as my one bike.
