hi all if anyone has any idea how i can loosen the dome head nuts without snapping them off like
carrots. one of the nut just wont budge it did turn a little to start with but is now at a standstill, i have drilled
a small hole in the dome nut and filled up with duck oil and tried a little butane torch but it seems stuck.
    any fresh ideas please:(

Cut a slot in it with a dremel to release the seizing (at that one point, anyway) and it may come off. Or, it may bring the whole stud up with it. Or it may TRY to bring the whole stud up and snap the stud...... :-(

put some other nuts back on so the stuck one isn't holding all the pressure. then a hand impact wrench might break it loose

Since you're replacing the nut can you cut the nut on one side with thin cut off disc on a dremmel tool? With the nut split you then get a thin screw driver blade in the slit then twist. This may release the nut. If possible two cuts will work better. Be careful not to cut too deep.

If you have access to a MIG welder you can really heat that sucker up.
