gun links are commonly censored...you need something like a bare welding rod with a point and a 90 bent close to the end and try to poke the little holes on top of the passage. on a 750 the holes are about 3/32, not easy. could you settle for a compressor and a bunch of air?

probably would if you could get it to stay in there awhile BUT there's a o-ring between the jugs and the head that seals those yics holes so carb cleaner might not be a good idea

that's a 3/32 drill bit, 1/8 won't fit. that's where you're pushing any crud to, the hole in the head is about the size of the o-ring id

In a hotel room, using Wi-Fi to search "tools to ream holes with". Can't imagine what would trigger the censorship software. PS gotta erase the browser history.

I never did bother to clean mine. When I had the head off I found that there was just a bare film of carbon on the passages. If you suspect that yours are blocked you can do what Polock suggests, and then run Seafoam in the gas to help clear out any remaining carbon.

Chacal does sell a specific tool for the job, I believe it has markings to help you find the correct spots. I used it, can't say it made any difference but gave me a little peace of mind.
