Any easy fork circlip removal ideas?

    I am trying to change my fork seals and am already stuck at the first part, removing the clip, I can't keep the cap held down and remove the circle at the same time, does and one have any ingenious ideas? Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I use a floor mounted drill press with a 3/8 rod in the chuck to push the center down. Its a little tricky with one person but can be done. Others have modified c-clamps to do the job, I have seen it here but cant find it. I use my drill press so I don't have another tool to keep track of.

    I used to keep a teenager around for just that reason. Unfortunately he moved out.
    Having a helper is always helpful.

    Awesome, three way clamp looks cool, I like Pollock's idea and it will be free, thanks for the suggestions

    I use a BF screw driver push down on cap with one hand and use free hand to remove clip with a bugger hook ...But I'm strong I guess lol
