I am looking to replace the rubbers on my front footpegs (5g2-27413-00-00)on my 82 750rj and I am wondering if any one makes aftermarket rubbers or has anyone removed the rivet and used another footpeg from a common model

I drilled out the rivet , bought 2 clevis pins and cotter pins , I found 2 pegs in good condition on eBay and replaced mine . Only thing that you should know is to make sure spring is set right. If you drill the rivet only do the head ,and use a small punch and drive it out.

We do have them in stock, and shipping to Australia is not a problem (but can be pricey).

thanks Chacal, exchange rate, as well as postage is a real problem , might have to scour the wreckers for a foot peg that I can adapt.
Jetfixer, did you use xj750 pegs or something else?

I bought 2 off of eBay that were in better condition than mine they were for an 82 XJ750 Seca ....the ones I bought were complete with brackets , but to me it was easier to drill out the rivet than unbolting mount ...
