those fuel rail "T" pieces are a real pain, and rarely reseal when they have been removed, why they didnt put "O" rings on there i will never know , so i put some very thin section "O" rings on myself ,and pushed them in there with a thin blunt bit of plastic, and the seals hold fine, dont know the size or number of them just now, but could find out tomorrow if you like, as the "T" pieces are not cheap

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately i already ordered a new Fuel T, 30 Euro.. :(

I will order one from china also, it comes with orings, so nice to have in stock for the future, and a lot cheaper than a Yamaha OEM part.

I don’t bother to reuse the original Mikuni ones. They are always worn out. I’ve only had ONE that was still good. I replace them with the brass ones with the double O-rings that LEN carries.

yeh, that would be a good plan, but postage and import costs would probably make them dearer than original ones

I 'think' that as a makeshift solution I've wrapped with PTFE tape in the past to make a seal..

I was thinking about doing something similar, but it is fuel, so i dont want to risk it leaking while riding, seat heat could be nice, but still. :)

And now its running on 4 cylinders, but has developed a squeaking sound, maybe a leak somewhere, nothing to be heard when just cranking the engine, but when it fires something squeaks.

I'm going to check if I can see signs of the tape. If I have used it, its been there for over 4 years..

Noise is gone, it was an intake leak, not sure why the new gaskets caused a leak, but it was fixed with a thin layer of sealant on both sides of the new gaskets, now 4 cylinders - and one stop closer to a MOT. :)
