Circle Pines/Lino Lakes, just north of Minneapolis, that one was listed on Craigslist for $800 not long ago and I was going to go after it but never got back to me.

 

If anyone lives around the "Babbit MN" area, there are two XJ1100 for sale on FB. Way to look of drive for me, but no reason one of the forum members can't take them home. $300 each or $600 for both.

Nice looking bike, although it the original turn signals are missing and aftermarket versions have been added an cut into the front fairing and the rear cowl panel to mount (ouch!)........that will take a bit to repair, since between the fairing damage/mods, tank paint problem, and rear cowl signal repair basically means a full re-paint is needed. Also missing (damaged) the right side "air scoop" at the front of the gas tank, the seat cover is incorrect, the shocks are not original, and neither is the exhaust system.

To bring it back to "like-new" condition ..... assuming engine and other systems are otherwise in good shape ...... would take a good bit of $$$, especially if you wanted the original exhaust system.

But it has rather low miles, and is probably a blast to ride as-is.

 

This fellow has had this bike advertised on Marketplace and Craigslist for about a month. The original asking price was I think $2700 or $2800. The market just doesn't seem to be as strong as it was before the last election.

That 900 looks an awful lot like a 750.

 

I was thinking the fairing looked more like a 750, but now that you mention it, the whole back end says 750 too. Carbs still look wrong either way. They look like flat-topped hats.

If he was local, I might haul it away for him for free...maybe even give $50 for it. It's probably got enough usable parts to get my 750 parts bike on the road.

Well I do and a hr away. So yes, have been chatting with them. Looks like I might get to pick it up on Friday. They are busy the rest of the week and still have not changed over the signed title. Thanks a lot @Dan Gardner I am trying to thin my stable down and then you have to go and post that bike....all your fault. Lol....Thanks.

Wow, must be like a HD and have some gold in them gas tanks. I can't see any of them selling for those prices. But that is the nice thing, the seller can pick any price they want to try and sell, just finding the right buyer.
