    Right side covers the battery. A lot of time the cover is removed to service the battery. Cover set on the shelf and never seen again.

    It looks like the side stand switch has been removed and that is part of the wire loom to the switch.

    You could use a known good battery. A car battery for example. Jump start your bike from the car. Do not have the car running when jump starting....

    Remove the clamps holding the handle bars and move the handle bars ahead. Loosen the bolt on the top triple clamp.

    Small oil leak

    Did you replace the dough nut seals on the valve bolts? The seals keep pressure on the valve cover and the gasket. Do over tighten the bolts.
