    Hi all.

I am creating yet another threat regarding my XJ700. This time I spent quite some time searching through the forum and failed to find a solution to the issue…

Problem: When I steer right, my bike accelerates significantly. When turning left it decelerates slightly.

(Probable) cause: The position of the throttle cable. When I investigated visually the spot where the throttle line connects with the engine (no idea what it is called, sorry), I can see the line moving slightly when turning right, which results in serious acceleration

Solution tried: I tested two different positions of the throttle line (see photos) based on what I saw online as a probable default position. Neither solved the issue.

Question: What else do you think I should try?

    As always, thanks in advance!

Get the right cable, or at least check you have the right one.
