1981 xj650lh shifter assembly

    Assembling my xj650 motor and I mixed up pin placement. I followed online instructions but can't get it to bench shift beyond 2nd and I'm not really sure where I went wrong. If anyone has ideas I would love to hear them. The back side of my selector cam had four centerpunch marks next to holes. I placed the long pin in the hole closest the non symmetrical part of the selector cam and the other 3 pins followed .
