1983 Xj650 sp info

    So ive recently acquired an xj650 sp but can not find any info online and am trying to figure out if it is a good idea to mod or do a restro as im worried im gonna do mods then find out its a collectors item

    If it is stock, then keep it stock. If it has been modified, then return it to stock if possible. It will run better, be easier to work on, an in my opinion maintain its value better.

    Other than paint or minor mods, leave it more stock, its worth more and looks more proper. :) if you do change stuff, keep original parts and dont mod it where it cant be fixed... My rear fender has holes in it from a bad tail light mod, im so sad and having to weld it up and fixing it this winter. :(
