1983 XJ650K "exhaust plugs" thread/screw size/part number?

    Hey guys.

    In short, the mechanic I took this bike to is a dick. Charged me $170 (!!!!!!) for a safety inspection and failed it because its missing the screws under the exhaust, which he said he refuses to fix (because its an old bike) and I would have to do myself. He conveniently scheduled me to come back the day before the inspection paperwork expires, so I'm sure he'll find a way to delay it 24 more hours and get another $170 out of me.

    Anyways,

    He called them exhaust plugs, but the ones I see online look nothing like what's actually on the bike. Exhaust plugs online look like little plastic wedges, but these are just screws with a crush washer on the underside of the exhaust, plugging the exhaust before it reaches the muffler. I'm missing 3. Any guidance on where to find more/what size/part number these are? I looked through the manual on XJCD and didn't find anything.

    Those are the gas test port bolts. I can't recall their size, but pull the one that you have and head to the hardware store. They are metric, and any decent hardware store will have screws of the correct size, length, and pitch. They should have crush washeers too. If not then you can use exhaust paste on them.

    bolt and washer is used in a lot of Yamaha power equipment , the part number is a link with photo

    a hardware store would be easier and get 4 so they look the same
