    Handlebars, Grips, controls... (right side reservoir and lever are badly damaged)
    Side covers
    Seat
    Everything Seat related!
    Rear shocks are still good!
    Stock exhaust headers
    Airbox and everything attached (except for boots)
    Turn Signals
    Reflectors
    Headlight
    *Will trade Maxim Tank for compatible Seca tank!

    **Speedometer/ Tachometer are damaged and not working

    I just noticed the Lockhart oil cooler. Those have cool written all over them (pun intended).

    First Cafe Racer Mod! 1983 XJ750 Maxim

    Personally I'd look for a thrashed bike to turn into a cafe', but it's not my money and regular Maxims are common enough.

    haha yea, I don't know anything about the "lockhart" part but it came with the bike so I was pretty happy about the oil cooler since that was going to be an add-on eventually!
    I will be removing the logo though!

    Oh, please leave it on. Those were a hot item back in the day and have gotten nearly impossible to find (factory oil coolers come up for sale far more often). The last one I saw for sale went for around $200.
    If anything, cover the label with masking tape and paint over that.

    How did the Lockhart cooler hook up to oil supply? Base plate or drill and tap a gallery ?

    I was racking my brain to think what I have on my kawasaki from Lockhart, read back, yes its the oil cooler. Is it old, looks it, the aluminum chrome has blistered inplaces.

    looking for the leftside cover and brushes on engine . i have a 83 midnight maxim my son dumped . Can't find a black one ,brushes and holder a shot too . And the shifter is broke , just the connector if you have it .Might be interestested in the tank mine is black and dented . let me know when you can . thx.
