1983 XJ900 not charging

    Success!!!!!

    Charging at 14.5v at about 4000rpm

    3x duff reg / rectifiers!.. all via eBay different suppliers and between 20 and 45 pounds..

    New one was 65pounds but works

    Huge thanks for your help and support over the last few weeks..really appreciated

    Good to hear, and hopefully the new one has the same reliability as the Yamaha OEM

    We had a saying at the former jobsite: "we can't afford to buy things based only on the price tag." (as that behavior tends to result in problems and expensive re-work).

    1. I do not buy any electrical parts from eBay
    2. I only by parts from xj4ever.com unless
    3. I can’t pull them off another parts bike right here.
