Hey guys new to the forum. I didn't see a post about adding Light bars to our bikes and I thought I'd give it a shot, I'm not sure if it's because of the legality about it but I know in my state it's fine.
I got these light bars from Nilight they are the 7-inch 30W slim ones and were only $40 for 2, I was skeptical at first but they turned out awesome. I meant to take pics as I was putting them on but I completely forgot, it only took 2 hours from start to finish. It doesn't look the prettiest but I'll see if I can change that later on, I tested them out tonight and it's such a crazy difference.

The brackets come with the lights, they're meant for a car so I had to form them in a way to fit on the bike as well as making both lights stack on top of each other while still being able to tilt them at will. Turned out the bolt holes that hold the Yamaha badge on the front forks were absolutely perfect for this. The chrome on my bike looks dirty in the pics but it's just rain haha.
Had to use an image sharing website because the files were to big so hopefully it works.

ibb.co/qkqZQHS Ignore fuse box with uncovered wires lol that's been like that for years

ibb.co/tMC1DjZ And than here's my beautiful bike before :D
For the relay I simply screwed it into the existing screw hole where the plastic tray is under the seat.
Than routed the wires under the gas tank where the bikes wire harness is and ziptied it up, had to shorten and solder a good amount of the light bar wire harness since it's meant for a car, there was just so much extra length. You can see in the pics I routed the switch up and put it over my starter button. I put it there because there wasn't a good place on the left side to mount it with the adhesive sticker that comes on it.
I did a comparison to the low beam to high beam than from light bars on with high beam on than light bars without headlight on.
If I'm not allowed to post the pics the way I did I can try to figure out how to upload them to this post separately, but no image compression site was working and each file is like 14-20 MB.

Those links all throw security warnings.

IBB really doesn't seem to be the greatest image host...

Took better comparisons tonight, these light bars are very bright and go very far. I don't know how I ever road at night before.
