    Thank you Matti.
RZ is my good memory. I had a RZ350 about 10 years ago, I was a teenager.
I was riding every day at Hakone (Japanese famous "Touge").

So 24hrs ago my main drive is my '95 t-bird.......

(back-story)---several weeks ago, too k my wife's '03 Santa Fe in for some work.."heck, while its in could you please do the timing belt..160,000mi let's play it safe." One week, and 200 mi later, "honey, the car Quit.....can you get it after work?" Well-- towed it home in the dark, in the morning I found...you guessed it.....a blown engine due to a incorrectly installed timing belt. The shop- turned it over to their insurance company (rather than replacing the engine???), a month later, we got a check from their insurance company for the whole vehicle

(back to present)---got home late last night from driving some potential vehicles for her.....now she's in an '07 Subaru Forester----AND......I'm in a loaded '06 Nisssan Maxima SL. Holy Toledo....this has 265hp!?!

I guess the shop would rather have both of is in two much newer nicer cars and have their bills go up......but ok:)

Not really anything to do with XJ's, but if I'm not ON a Maxim, I'm IN a MaximA......lol

Did Studio Ghibli sponsor motorcycles back in the day, or is that a different Ghibli? My kids love Miyazaki's films.

This Ghibli is a helmet maker. There is a no relationship with Studio Ghibli. The name of "Studio Ghibli" is derived a Italian aircraft named CAPRONI Ca309 GHIBLI that Miyazaki likes.

Hey Dave, Subaru makes a damn fine vehicle. Their 4 wheel drive system is great for our winters. Only one thing to keep an eye on - due to the boxer engine, the seals tend to leak a bit... Even though she marks her spot on the driveway, we love our 07 legacy wagon.

Also, the engine in the Maxima is a version of the 350z and Infiniti G35. Sports car engine in a cruiser, so the Maxim comparison is apt!

    Those SDR200's look awesome. I had 2 bikes with that 200 motor. 1991 DT200R and 1992 WR200R.
Although I managed to plate the WR for the road, I think the DT was probably the last of the 2-smokers legal for Canadian streets.

    Hmmm.... this seems familliar.

    Progress so-far:

    • Gas cap unstuck.

    • Starter solenoid clicking when the starter button gets pressed (via a temporary hack to the messed up stock wiring).

    • Rebuilt starter not spinning (I may call this a safety feature, but time will tell).

It's been a lazy-day project that I'm fitting in between other projects. No rush (and no RUSH :( )

It's got some chutzpah for sure--- 265hp...the other night had a new mustang driver being an idiot, so I figured I'd get around him and leave. He decided to try and block me in the outside lane . I tromped it, and it looked like he slammed on the brakes as I pulled away so quickly.... the look on his face was priceless. Nothing like being blown away by a four- door sedan.... lol

Just the other day I came across an old 'basement tape' of one of the bands I was in, we were playing Working Man - guess who was singing? It sure wasn't Geddy, and I think I know why we stopped playing that song.:( Too bad as the instrumental parts weren't half bad.

Never been a fan of Rush but Working Man is one of my favorites.

When I was 19 I was working one of those oil change places and I told my boss, who was also the owner, that I didn't like Rush. He pulled off his shirt right then and there to reveal he was covered in Rush tattoos.

I don't think they still market it this way, but a few years back, it was touted as the "4 door sports car". I've always wanted one, especially the 6 speed.

I had a Volvo S60R. 300hp from the factory, looked exactly like their regular mid-sized sedan. I loved pulling up next to the local kids with their souped up Hondas and Toyotas and leaving them behind. I don't think they ever figured out how a middle-aged guy in a Swedish sedan left them in his dust.

Oh well, it was a humorous clip from"Fan Boys" movie. Guy has only Rush cassettes in his van. Friend criticizes him for lack of diversity, he screams back, "RUSH IS DIVERSITY!"

I aren't too smrt with linking n stuff.
