    Hi
Has anyone a link to any company that is producing an exhaust system that dispenses with the old collector box system for above bike please?
There was one on sale over here in UK a few years ago (Motad), and it was stainless steel, but they have since gone out of business, and nobody else seems to have taken up the mantle to resume making these(?)
There must be a demand for them, from those who don't want to swap to the 4 into 1 affair, (and all it's potential carburretion tweaks!) and keep their 'bike as close to original spec as possible? (and the 'used' collector boxes are both very hard to come by, and when you do locate one, expensive, and very short-lived!)
The system dispensed with the collector box, but still had a connecting pipe between the joined up two pairs of downpipes (similar to what it is on a Maxim) to compensate(?) for the original. Motad stated at the time that there was no need to do any changes with this system. There is a system for sale in Canada, but that does not have a 'crossbar', just 2 x 2 into one
    Appreciate any attention and feedback.......
    Regards
    Granny

I'm curious to learn what you've found available in Canada. Mac is the only current supplier that I'm aware of.
I talked to the Hindle.com rep at the bike show last year. They are making some real nice all SS exhaust for 70/80's bikes but Yamaha is excluded.
People are restoring/cafe'ing Honda CB750's, Kawi Z's and Suzi GS'. I guess they don't see a market in us with our XJ's.

Yes I always thought that so many XJ's sold worldwide and plenty of spares for the above bikes but not for the XJ's.

I got a Motad for my XJ 900f after the company folded on E Bay. What bike so you have, is it a 650?

I went up to 124 main and switched back to 120...seemed the 120 which is stock on the 750 Seca was better , but there did not appear a huge difference. When I bought bike P.O. put it on what is nice about it is the pipes are split so if for some reason you can pull say left set of pipes 1 and 2 cylinder without touching right bank. Now of course this is the 4 into 2 system

Yes the four into two l like. Had a Jama four into two on my 900f until an idiot destroyed it with his car. Interesting you going back to 120 jets. Some aftermarket exhausts need different jets but my machine is standard jetting with the Motad on it.
