Hi all Apols for repeat questioning..
I have a Maxxis promax on the rear of the 550 and want to match it up at the front. Only size available though is 100/90 x 19. Will that be OK? Theres another in te Maxxis range ( 'classic') which is 90/90 x 19 if that would be better fit.

    Cheers

3.00H 19-4PR is US seca tire rim is MT1.85x 19 by chart 90/90 is the correct size going up 1 size to 100/90 is ok to do. you could pick up a US maxim 550 rim 3.25 tire which takes the 100/90 tire

hi i have maxxis promax 120/90/19 on the rear and maxsis 100/90/19 classic on the front , as the rear is bigger than standerd for my bike (550 seca north anerican import )
the handeling is not good have problems with white lines and poor road surfices ,could also be down to pressures ,going to swop the rear tyre back to the correct size this year and see how i get on. both tyres are brand new and i have done 500 miles on them i just replaced them with the same size fitted when i bought it .

Hmm The rear on mine is 110/90 -18, are you sure your rear is 19? You can get a Promax in 100/90-19 so I can have a matching pair and I think it will fit the 1.85 rim
