    Hope I can post this here.
    I recently purchased an XJ650 regulator that is not going to be used on a bike, and hopefully can get an idea if I could use it for my project.
    I purchased this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... :IT&ih=002
    and am intending to use it as a regulator for a pedal power generator I'm putting together.
    So, can someone tell me if I could use this for the purpose of just keeping the power output at 12 volts.
    any info is appreciated.
