    Hi Gang,
Haven't been here since 2021(ish), hope everyone has stayed safe and had good rides :)

I had a very small crash on my bike back then, avoiding a gravel patch in a sharp corner, but the drainage ditch got me in a low speed crash. Caught the grass ditch at an angle so it ripped the bars out of my hands. The damage I could find was:
    • Slightly bent handlebars
    • Ding on the gas tank (from the bars)
    • Right side engine guard bent (Does not look like any frame bending or cracking)
    • Headlight enclosure cracked / broken
    • Key switch broken
So I was trying to be safe and disassembled the whole front end so I could roll the fork tubes on a surface plate and make sure there was no distortion (there wasn't), and I could further inspect the tubes and triple tree for any cracks (none I can find). I figured it needed a fork oil change anyway and I was going to paint the speedo needle and re-lamp it as well. I was starting re-assembly and so far replaced the key switch and the headlight enclosure.

But now I'm moving over a few states and just have not had any time to put to it, so I'm feeling out if anyone here wants to make an offer on it. I remember how cliche' the statement is but, "It ran well before I stored it". Seriously, it was running awesome, and I know that means nothing now. Hogfiddles had cleaned out the carbs for me before I tuned it and I really love this bike. I figure if it goes to one of you it will actually get re-assembled and loved some more. It was running so well I was spending my time polishing instead of doing any tuning anymore.

I have every screw and cover, and even the unobtanium right side cover and handlebar badge. I also have a spare set of pipes, an extra grab bar, and maybe a few more duplicate parts. Attached is a pic from a few weeks before crashing and some pics of it in my garage now.

Let me know your thoughts and thanks!!

Tim, Sorry to hear about you not being able to finish your bike. You are in Crozet if I remember correctly. I am the fellow who came and got the other XJ a couple of years ago. I think it was shortly before your crash. I would love to come get your bike but have too many XJ projects going now as it is. Where are you moving to?
