'84 XJ750RL - What parts suit?

    Hi all,

    I have an 1984 XJ750RL. I know that it's a 750 in a 900 frame (45T frame and motor) but parts wise, I'm just not sure what 750 models are a match.

    For things like stator or starter, what year and model do you think I'd be ordering with?

    Parts wise on ebay I only come across the 81-83 range of Secas and Maxim, etc.

    look up your part on www.yamahapartsnation.com then click on the part number it will show you all the parts cross referance
    click on the obsolete part number for more fitment

    if wont work well for painted parts

    it looks like the parts numbers for the starter motor assembly is 4H0-81800-50. As for the stator, one is mentionned in the starter section at 4H0-81810-01, and the other one is the generator section at 4H7-81610-10.

    All engine-related parts are from the 81-83 Xj 750 Seca.
    The starter and stator parts are the same ( or interchangable with) as all years of XJ 650, 750, 900 and 700.
