alternator oil leak

Has any one had any experience fixing an oil leak from the alternator cover. Any tips or suggestions would be great.

 

The alternator cover should not make a complete seal, if oil is coming out of this cover then you have a problem with a shaft seal which is located behind the rotor assembly.
