Anything bad gonna happen??

    Hey guys, easy one for yah. I want to remove the Yamaha badges off my tank. Will I need to replace the screws to prevent fuel leaking untill metal work to cover and smooth holes is accomplished? Or do they even go all the way through?

    No, you're fine.

    There are indentations in the tank itself; over which are little metal plates with the screw holes in them. The screws don't even go into the tank itself at all.

    Wait until you see what you're going to have to deal with/fill. Might just want to consider a set of new badges; they're available and cheap.
