    sup, guys

    Faced an issue.
Saw that oil leacking out of it. There was a tiny crack when I examined it. I know it is not from metal, I think if it was aluminum it would not crack.

Question : does this badboy has an Id number or name at least? I want to order a new one or find it elsewhere but I need to know what should I look for.

    Appreciate ur help!

Oil galley plug, unusual place for a leak. I've seen other threads where they just break off when people try to remove them. I'd degrease that area (spray brake cleaner works well) and make sure it is leaking from there before attempting to replace. There is an O ring on the back too that can be replaced.

Side not, you should really source a proper clip to hold your shift linkage on, you don't want that coming off while riding. The wire on there now is good for a "I gotta get home ride" but should be replaced.

Yes, I has a tiny crack on its thread, so this is it. I’ll try to look for it on eBay or smth.

Just be careful during removal and you should be good. Not sure about parts availability in your area so good luck with your search!

Nothing on eBay..not to mention that there is no any parts in Kyiv for this bike.
May be I will ask someone to do this part from scratch, not decided yet

Start a conversation with Chacal. He may have a few to sell. Shipping costs might make it less expensive to have the part made locally though.

If you do have it made, be sure that the machinist pays close attention to making the groove for the o-ring at the proper depth so it seals well.

If you have not looked at Ebay Germany, do so. The XJ series was very popular there, and a lot of parts show up that are not listed elsewhere.
