Bikes for sale-complete bikes, project bikes, and parts bike

Hi All,

I am actually trying to reduce the amount of projects I have (oh, the horror!) Oh, don't worry.....it's just so I can get some other projects going.

So, I am putting a few bikes up for sale. Here's the info;

1. XJ650 parts bike: 1981, no title, lots of good parts, engine turns over by hand or with battery, hasn't run in 4 years, complete carb set but I'm sure needs overhaul, tall K/Q seat w/bracket, currently missing headlight bucket and assembly, but I have enough parts to include a complete headlight assembly. I can forward a couple pics. If it doesn't sell, then I'll part it out (though I already have a TON of parts already). $295.00

2. XJ650 project bike, has title, I think the frame is a 1981 if I remember correctly, I just stuck the engine in yesterday and that is an XJ750 engine that I pulled out of another Xj650 frame that had no title, swing arm is back on, rear wheel and tire are on,am getting ready to put tapered bearings in the tube and put the front back on. I have enough parts that will go with the bike so that it will be complete. In the meantime I will keep assembling it until I find out I like it too much and keep it for myself. $650.00

3. XJ650 complete bike, has title,nice condition, the only thing it needs is to have a few of the valve shims swapped/replaced. All the measurements have been done. I have all the necessary shims except three, and I'm just waiting til I can get them and then will be putting them in myself unless the bike sells first. Carbs have been cleaned, I'll throw some extra parts of some sort in with the bike. If it doesn't sell, maybe I'll do a bobber. $795.00

4.1980 XS400 Special with title, nice bike, runs but needs carbs synced, only around 8,000 mi on the bike. Has cosmetic damage from when a previous owners' wife knocked the bike over in the garage. I have a set of handlebars that will go with the bike....not original XS but are from the same year XJ and should swap in unless I get to putting them on first. One dent in the gas tank. $950.00

5. All the bikes listed above plus pretty much the whole stash of parts that I have which includes a LOT of stuff. $2000.00 package deal

6. 1982/83 XZ550 Vision - complete bike, had it running last summer. I didn't have a title, but now have a titled frame for a frame swap. I have some extra parts, too. If it doesn't sell, I'll do the swap myself and probably fall in love with it. $800.00

If anyone is seriously interested, I will supply pics.

I am in the middle of New York just a bit south of Utica, bikes will be pickup only--I won't ship, crate, etc.... if you're close enough, I could possibly work out meeting or delivery terms.

Hey Hog: Looking for a YICS engine for my 650 Maxim, as low miles as possible - got anything in good shape left?
