I know the Canadian version of the XJ650RJ Seca came with a factory oil cooler. Does anyone know for sure if or what I would need to hook one up to an American version? ie mounts, lines, where did it hook up to the engine etc.......that is if I can find one.... Also still looking for a real nice #2 exhaust header pipe (or a set) for same bike if anyone knows where there is one. thanks for any help!

All of the aircooled XJ's oil coolers "hooked up" to the motor the same way: there was a plate between the oil filter and the block with fittings on it for the cooler lines; it just "sandwiches" between the filter and engine block.

Our bikes don't have the upper mounting tab that was welded to the frame; so some fabrication of mounts will be necessary.

Back in the day, Lockhart made an aftermarket oil cooler kit for these bikes; they pop up on eBay occasionally.
