Capable upgrade on Carburators set

    Found a set of 4 mikini set on a wreck 84 Yamaha FJ1100 and was wondering can they be used on a XJ650RJ that's missing all of carbs and linkage. Any body with any knowledge on this would appreciate! Thanks

    That Mikiuni set is oversized for the 650, and the spacing is wrong besides.

    You want a set of Hitachis from any YICS XJ650, or XJ750 (aircooled only).
    If you get the 750 carbs they will need some internals swapped to be properly jetted for the 650.

    Post in the wanted section here, or look on Ebay (including Ebay.de). There are plenty around, but you may have to wait to fnd a good rebuildable set.
    You could also contact @hogfiddles or @chacal for fully rebuilt racks.
